This installation proposes an investigation into the relationship between humanity and the earth, reflecting on the power and benevolence of Nature to which we are connected and upon which we depend. "Danza Nocturna" serves as a manifesto for the fragility of nature in this moment of climate crisis. The installation consists of an old parachute and leaves made from precious jacquard velvet by Redaelli Velluti. Fragility is placed at the center of this work as a form of resistance, sensitive to the present and aiming for a more sustainable journey into the future. Recognizing fragility as one of the few truths shared and felt in our divided world is essential.

The leaf shapes given to the velvet evoke the Amazon rainforest: they are majestic, as Nature should be, but the colors used—black and gray—symbolize climate change, also reminding viewers of images of environments devastated by recent ecological disasters. The heaviness of the dark velvet leaves contrasts with the lightness of the parachute, creating an effect of drama and unease.

This installation is realized to question the capacity of the natural environment to develop resistance strategies against industrial pressures on nature. At the same time, it invites reflection on the dramatic nature of climate change and the necessity for greater attention to our present and future.
